I don't think I can tell you how much I love this eBook! As it says in the description, this eBook is organized around 12 scrapbooking challenges to help you scrapbook your everyday moments in a meaningful way. It is filled with fresh inspiration and wonderful layouts by two of my favorite scrapbookers. I'm pretty sure you are going to love it too!
For today's blog hop I have two layouts to share with you. The first layout I created is based on challenge #6: Use everyday ephemera to enhance your design.
For this layout I included a list that Gabe wrote last summer. He wanted to plant a vegetable garden, I suggested an herb garden instead - I do not have a green thumb. I asked him what we would need to start our garden and this is what he came up with: water, soil, plants and sun. I had to help a little with the spelling, but he wrote it all himself. I thought it was pretty good for a just-turned 4 year old.
The next layout I have to share is based on challenge #12: Capture a loved one's personality on paper.
I created this layout last fall; the photos were taken just before Nathan turned two years old. The photos definitely capture a little piece of his personality, his silliness. I wanted the page to reflect that too and so I chose patterned papers with bright, happy colors and tried to scatter the embellishments about the page in a playful way.
Would you like to win your own copy of this eBook? Leave a comment telling me one of your favorite everyday memories. I'll leave the comments open until Tuesday March 22nd, 11:59 pm PST. The winner will be announced on Wednesday.
Next stop in the blog hop is Jenni Hufford.
The rest of the Ella team is also giving away a copy of this eBook so be sure to visit all the blogs in the hop.
Happy Monday & happy hopping. =)

Looks like a fun ebook! My favorite moments are when the boyfriend and myself are out, enjoying our time together..

ReplyDeletemy favorite everyday memory is when i scrapbook a us-right-now kinda layout. just jotting down what is up with us right htn and there.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite everyday memory is my husband working with my two boys on their guitars. It is beautiful music!
ReplyDeleteI pick my granddaughter up from school everyday and I love listening to her tell me about her day.
ReplyDeleteLove both your LOs. I have been trying to capture those precious everyday moments more this past year. One of my favourite everyday moments is when my little guy and I cuddle on the couch and read a book, just to take a break from all the crazy playing.
ReplyDeleteAm I the first one to comment. Anyway, my favorite everyday memories is just the sitting and watching TV, or kids playing Wii, and the funny things that we say during that time that just come up. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite everyday memory is every night as my youngest is heading to bed he asks every member of the family what they are going to have for breakfast. Then he checks in the morning if you actually ate what you said you were going to. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your layouts! One of my favorite everyday moments is watching my 2 kids play together. It's so sweet.
ReplyDeleteLOVE! Happy Spring, Donna :)
ReplyDeleteToday, my second son is into making paper airplanes. I remember when my oldest son went through this phase, too. So much fun and excitement and a great way to use paper scrap!
ReplyDeleteLooking back over time (my kids are in early 20's now), I loved having them around my feet in the kitchen pushing their little tractor toys. I'm sure at the time it did not seem very convenient to be dodging balers & corn planters, but I love thinking back on it.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose just one of my favorite everyday moments :), but I'd say it's waking my son up in the morning. He's so warm, smells delightful and is so snuggly. He loves to wake up to kisses and hugs.
ReplyDeleteLove this blog hop. Looks like I'm going to need a pen & paper to write all these ideas down! Wonderful!
Thank you for the opportunity to win!
At the end of the evening, we all pile into our bedroom to hang out, read, watch tv - the perfect way to end each day! Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite everyday moments is feeding my birdies in the morning.
ReplyDeleteMy everyday memory is being with my family. My son trying to negotiate with me...I'll give you a kiss if you get me this. What I have to exchange goods for kisses now? When did that happen?
ReplyDeleteI like our morning routines (usually), and dinnertime too.
ReplyDeleteI love sitting down to dinner with my fiancé. Everything stops and it is just us!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteIt's inspiring to see your layouts!

(-:
A favorite everyday moment is the kids sitting at the counter together eating breakfast before school!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have children, but we do have dogs and cats that keep us entertained. The cats are fairly new, so watching the shy kitty reach out and nose one of our dogs was truly a treasure yesterday!
ReplyDeleteI love snuggling with my grandson as he's getting ready to take his afternoon nap. He's so sweet and loving at that time of day...compared to his rambunctious mornings. Looks like a geat book.
ReplyDeleteanything that helps me to hold onto the nitty-gritty everyday is good - yesterday I scrapped a laundry list (how many sheets, shirts, etc I washed in a day) with a photo of my washing machine - I'm sure it will give me (and my kids) a laugh in years to come.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite everyday moment is either morning coffee or eating dinner with the family. We eat together every night. Sweet layouts. Thanks for the chance to win. I'd love an ebook. :)
ReplyDeleteI love picking up my little guy from daycare and talking about our day on the way home. :)
ReplyDeleteDress up! I've got nine little ones and it never fails that someone is dressed up in one costume of another every single day!
ReplyDeleteOne of my fave everyday memories is having a Supernatural marathon with my brother Tim.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite everyday moment, reading at bedtime to my children!
ReplyDeleteI love spending time with my husband.
ReplyDeleteJust hanging out with family, someone might be reading while someone is watching the hockey game and others are playing with toys or a game.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite everyday moments, now that my two children are not living at home anymore, is that half hour after I get home from work when I have a cup of coffee and relax!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say how much I love these layouts!
ReplyDeleteI love listening to my 4 year old try out new words. I also love hearing her explain the world to her 1 year old brother.
ReplyDeleteI love the 2 picture layouts
ReplyDeleteYour layouts are awesome, thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite everyday moment is when everyone else has gone off to work/school/uni & I can sit down with my first cup of coffee ;)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite everyday moment preparing breakfast and getting lunch bags ready in the morning. i just love the buzz in the air.
ReplyDeleteTY for the chance to win :)
Honestly, it is watching my 13 month old stare out the window each day. I often wonder what she is thinking and then get deep and wonder where the world will take her :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna, for the chance to win! Love your layouts!
ReplyDeleteI like to enjoy my girls at play.... pretending with Barbies, jumping rope, a competitive softball tourney, cartwheels, guitar hero, mothering a baby doll, board games......
